More than 100 years of history
Did you know that Flavs Bakery has been a family business for more than 100 years?
It all began in the year 1913 in a small town called Carbonara di Rovolon, nestled in the foothills of the mountains near the city of Venice, Italy. Husband and wife, Giuseppe and Benvenuta Fridegotto started a small bakery in a house adjacent to the town’s church.

Their children, and later their grandchildren, continued the operations at the same bakery.
Following World War II, in 1950, a family branch moved to Venezuela. Then, in 1992, one of the grandsons, Mario, and his son, Flavio, established Carbonara Pan Bakery Corp. This enterprise is dedicated to crafting traditional European products, offering them as frozen ‘Ready to Bake’ goods to the wholesale market. In 2013, Flavio and his wife Lilly decided to bring the company to Sarasota, Florida, aiming to provide the community with the finest European-style pastries."
